OCTOBER 23, 2008 - ST. PETERSBURG, FL

So were headed to the World Series tonight.  I scored 2 tickets.  So one of my dream events will finally come true, now all I need are tickets to the Super Bowl thats in Tampa this year, and the BCS Championship game thats in Miami this year.  I guess I'll also have to work on Jennys top two events, that being the Rose Bowl Parade, and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  The pics are in the Gallery feel free to check em out.....

OCTOBER 12-17, 2008 - MARATHON, FL

So this year we decided to stay rather local for our aniversary trip.  We decided to head south to the Florida Keys for a week of sun and fun.  Wow, what a time.  Highlights:  Had a beautiful Townhome rented for a week in Marathon, Dinner on the Beach for Jennys birthday, Margaritas at the beachside Tiki Bar, The private putting green, Fat Tuesdays, and renting a scooter in Key West, Sombrero Beach is beautiful, Snorkeling around the Reef, and so many more.  The place we stayed at was called Tranquility Bay, feel free to visit thier website Here.

Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom - August 28, 2008

So Jenny went to see Michael Phelps when they had a parade for him at the Magic Kingdom, little did she know Disney was filming for some marketing materials during his visit.  If you look in the upper left hand corner of the video when they are interviewing a lady in a pink shirt, you'll see everyones favorite midget in the background.  Jenny is also wearing a pink shirt, a flowery skirt, and some large sunglasses.  Check it out Here.

AUGUST 23-24, 2008 - Lake Buena Vista, FL

So my birthday came and went.  Another great time was had by all.  Jenny arranged for our nephew Michael to come watch the pups so we could get away for a little while.  We ended up getting a room at Port Orleans' Riverside.  Nice hotel, same place we honeymooned at many moons ago.  We then went out and had dinner at the California Grill above the Contemporary Resort, very nice restaraunt that over looks the Magic Kingdom.  Its nice to have dinner up there right before those fireworks go off, its a great show.  We then went out to Pleasure Island for a little club hopping.   Had fun as we always do, Jenny danced and danced.  The next day we ventured over to the Hollywood Studios to ride Rockin' Rollercoaster, and I got to pick up a new trading pin, lo and behold I found a special edition star wars one.  Pretty Cool.  Ive put some pics up in the Gallery, they were taken with a camera phone so pardon the clarity.

So this lady named Fay came to Florida for a visit  She brought some pretty robust wind gusts, although where were at didnt really get over 35 mph.  She also brought a good chunk of rain.  As of this morning we've had about 9 inches deposited at our doorstep, and it continues to come down.  All I have to say is thank god I live on top of a hill, so at least the water has some place to go.
